Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 24 July 2026
By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing any of the Games, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Games.
1. Eligibility
You must be legally permitted to use the Games under the laws applicable to you. If you are under the age at which you may independently agree to these Terms, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to them on your behalf.
2. Licence to Use the Games
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable licence to install and use the Games for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
You may not:
- copy, sell, rent, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit the Games except where expressly permitted by law;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to obtain source code except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- modify, translate, or create derivative works from the Games without permission;
- remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices;
- use unauthorised software, scripts, bots, cheats, exploits, or automation; or
- interfere with servers, networking, security, matchmaking, or another player's experience.
3. Accounts and Guest Play
Some Games may be played as a guest, while Space Goalers may provide optional registered accounts through Microsoft PlayFab.
You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for activity conducted through your account. You must not share passwords, impersonate another person, or attempt to access another player's account.
Display names must not contain unlawful, abusive, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, misleading, infringing, or personally identifying content. A display name may be removed or changed where reasonably necessary to protect players, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.
4. Multiplayer Conduct
When using multiplayer features, you must not:
- harass, threaten, abuse, or deliberately disrupt other players;
- coordinate cheating, exploit bugs, manipulate results, or falsify statistics;
- attempt to overload, damage, probe, or gain unauthorised access to servers or services;
- use the Games for illegal activity; or
- encourage others to violate these Terms.
5. Online Services and Availability
Multiplayer features depend on internet access and third-party services, which may include Unity services, Edgegap, Photon, Microsoft PlayFab, Apple, Google, itch.io, telecommunications providers, hosting providers, and platform services.
The Games and their online features may occasionally be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, changed, limited, or discontinued due to maintenance, updates, technical problems, provider outages, security concerns, legal requirements, or circumstances outside the developer's reasonable control.
Matchmaking quality, latency, connection stability, server location, and online availability are not guaranteed.
6. Updates and Changes
The Games may be updated to add, remove, rebalance, repair, or change features, content, rules, networking, compatibility, or technical requirements. Continued use after an update may require downloading the latest version.
Features may be changed or removed without guaranteeing that an earlier version will remain available.
7. Virtual Features and Game Progress
Unless expressly stated otherwise, characters, statistics, ranks, progression, unlocks, profiles, and other game features have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and do not create ownership rights outside the limited licence granted by these Terms.
Game progress or locally stored settings may be lost if an application is uninstalled, application data is cleared, a device is reset or replaced, a service becomes unavailable, or data is corrupted.
8. No Advertisements or In-App Purchases
At the effective date of these Terms, the Games do not contain third-party advertisements or in-app purchases. These Terms may be updated before any future monetisation feature is introduced.
9. Intellectual Property
The Games, including their software, code, gameplay systems, original artwork, user interfaces, text, names, logos, audio, and other original content, are owned by or licensed to Quek Wei Lin and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Third-party technologies, assets, trademarks, and services remain the property of their respective owners and may be governed by separate licences or terms.
10. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback, you grant the developer permission to use that feedback to improve, maintain, promote, or develop the Games without payment or obligation, provided that personal information is handled according to the Privacy Policy.
11. Suspension and Termination
Access to a Game, account, multiplayer session, or related service may be restricted or terminated where reasonably necessary to:
- enforce these Terms;
- protect players, services, or third parties;
- investigate cheating, abuse, fraud, or security incidents;
- comply with legal requirements; or
- discontinue a Game or service.
You may stop using a Game at any time by uninstalling it. Registered Space Goalers players may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Privacy
Information associated with the Games is handled according to the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
13. Third-Party Platforms and Terms
Your use of Apple, Google Play, itch.io, Unity, Edgegap, Photon, PlayFab, or another third-party service is also subject to that provider's terms and policies.
For applications downloaded through Apple's App Store, Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement may apply unless a valid custom licence is provided through App Store Connect.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Games are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No guarantee is made that the Games will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or free from data loss.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss arising from the use of or inability to use the Games, including loss of progress, data, opportunity, reputation, or enjoyment.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or costs arising from your unlawful use of the Games, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without excluding any mandatory consumer rights that apply in the country or region where you live.
18. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated when the Games, services, laws, or business practices change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the Games after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
19. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
